I really like the location it is like hidden it is also a very nice hotel. I was in a suite that also had a couch that turned into a bed great for my little one. My two daughters shared a queen bed and my husband and I were in another bed. It is pet friendly so I really enjoy that I could really go with the whole family it is just $20 more for each dog.
This is a clean hotel with a great breakfast at a good price. The rooms are large as well as a good size bathroom with a door that locks (idk why hotel chains suddenly decided everyone in the room should be open to join you in private business :/ ) The hotel felt safe as well as the area that had many easily accessible restaurants. Yes, the beds are high, but very comfortable. One recommendation I would give is to get new couches, they are past their prime. I would stay here again.
My kids and I stayed here for the first time this past week and we loved it. The room was super clean. The beds were high off the floor and clean. They have full sized lotion bottles, shampoo and conditioners, a full snack area down by the front desk and huge full size T.Vs. There were plenty of spots to sit in the room, fresh towels daily, and the staff was always so friendly and helpful. The only downside of it - was that I felt like the pool area could be nicer (better lit and more welcoming) and the pool could be cleaner, but it wasn't a deal breaker. It is also 20 minutes from everywhere we shop and eat, but again - not a big deal. We will be back next time we visit IL. :)
11/8/2025 We stayed here for our son's Navy Boot Camp Graduation. We had zero issues! Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Hotel grounds were spectacular. Not a new place or old. Our suite had 2 queen beds with fresh linens and plenty of nice pillows, a nice size bathroom and a sitting area with a sofa and desk. The indoor pool was nice, although it was not heated water and a hot tub. The kids didnt care tho. Lol The breakfasts were actually decent at this hotel. (We've stayed at other Comfort Suites.) I didn't realize until we were leaving that they had a laundry shute on the first floor for towels. The only thing that might be a problem for some people is our beds were really high up. So, you might want to consider checking for an accessible room if you think that might be an issue. We're Choice members and got a special rate. I had to pay a little more to have the option of changing the reservation. Good thing cause we ended up having to leave a day earlier because of when our son needed to be back to base AND a big chance of snow coming to the area. We're from southern Louisiana and we don't do snow! Lol Bottom line, I would highly recommend this Comfort Suite!
Good hotel with a decent breakfast. Could have more choices at breakfast but overall it was good. Pool and hot tub were great. They did double charge me which was inconvenient but did issue the refund just took about a week to get it back.
Last minute reservation. Nice clean quiet place off the beaten path. I stayed a night with my 2 dogs and it was great. Decent breakfast offered. Would stay again if I was in the area.
